It's a brand New Year and a brand new DT job - I'm very excited to present my first post for Pile It On! This will be an easy challenge for everyone - Anything Goes!
I wanted to celebrate for the new year, but didn't want to do a New Year's card. (I really only give out Christmas and Birthday cards) I dug out a fun stamp from my stash that I hadn't used in awhile and my fave papers and went to town on a colourful birthday card.
I apologize though, as the colours seem a little dull - however the card is a 4 hour dive from my MIL and I have to make do with the photo I've got!
So let's see what you've got - pull out all the stops for the first Pile It On challenge! And don't forget to visit the other DT and see what they've been up to!
Challenges for Emma:
4 Crafty Chicks - Something New (New Year, new challenge, new DT!)
Splendiferous Creations - Celebrate (Bloggers Challenge celebration challenge)
Card Crafters Circle - Anything Goes
Daring Cardmakers - Spots and Stripes
If the Shoe Fits...Scrap It - Use It Up! (must use this lovely paper...)
Fussy And Fancy - Animal Print or Happy Birthday
Stamping For the Weekend - Anything Goes
Totally Papercrafts - Time to party
Do You Stack Up - Inspiration picture (rainbow!)
Charisma Cards - Anything Goes
Please email me with your address and I will get your stamp set out to you!
Also stay tuned for my first Pile It On Post and a new Craft Your Passion post for the New Year.

Yup, this should've been up Monday - remember I told you I was cutting short the 12 Days of Craftiness? Hee, hee, apparently everything else got cut short too! So this is a catch up post - Craft Your Passion's Things with Wings Challenge and a new challenge at Craft Your Passion kids - winter.
So the top card is mine, and the two wintery cards belong to my boys Warren and Graham. Cute, huh?
Challenges (my card with the bird cage):
Sketch - Sketchbook Saturday (love these sketches!)
Anything Goes - Scrapbook Sisters
Brown and Blue - Allsorts

Craft Your Passion Holiday Havoc bloghop? Go here!
Ok, with that out of the way, I have a small confession to make. I may or may not get to the end of my 12 days of craftiness. Don't all cry at once now! I just came to the stunning realization that Christmas is a freakin' week away and I am totally not ready! I need to plan menus, grocery shop, wrap presents, finish buying presents and wrap those too, clean my house (yes, my Mum is coming over), prep for my DT jobs in the new year and try and sleep at some point. So I regret to say that there may not be a day 12.
I have truly enjoyed just posting random stuff though, so that is my goal for the next year - just publish stuff, not DT related, just for fun. We shall see how it goes...
For now, here's Day 7 - I'm pretty sure there will be an 8, but 9? We'll see...
These cuties are an outright lift - not something I do too much of, but I couldn't resist. Darlene does beautiful work, be sure to check out her blog! I changed mine up a bit - added legs and different antlers (a snowflake Nestie, very creative if I do say so myself!) but they're the same animal. Too cute, my table's gonna rock!

We are very excited about the holidays and wanted to add to the chaos and havoc. What better way to do that, than to have a BLOG HOP!!!
If you have hopped over from Melissa's blog then you are in the right place. If you just happened to stop by and would like to join our hop from the beginning, please go to Craft Your Passion Challenges and follow along for a chance to win some AMAZING blog candy along the way and PRIZES at the end.
All the Craft Your Passion DT members are going to be playing along in the hop with some very special guest designers. Each designer along the way is featuring a project that showcases a digital image from at least one of our amazing Blog Hop Sponsors.
What’s more exciting is you can participate too by creating a project and linking it up over at Craft Your Passion Challenges for a chance to win one of several prizes.
But there’s a twist. Be sure to visit all the stops and leave a comment (we will be checking). Once you have finished the hop, we would like you to create a HOLIDAY project using at least one digital stamp and enter it with our Linky tool.
While you are hopping, be sure to check out the blog candy the designer's have to offer you. You don't want to miss out on any of it! Here's my Holiday project, a sweet and simple Christmas card:
I choose an image from Stretch and Bubbles, isn't this rustic snowman just adorable? And I love all the little birds! Because it's Christmas, I dug into my CTMH stash and found this cute stamp set to offer you - just leave a comment! (Normally, this comes in a bigger envelope, but I don't want to pay too much for shipping!)
Next stop by
Remember, once you have hopped to all the stops and left your comments (we will be checking), it's your turn to show us your "Holiday Havoc" project.
Make sure to include a digital stamp somewhere on your project, and link up your project over at Craft Your Passion Challenges by Midnight CST December 23 to be eligible for the prizes. Winners will be announced on our Monday, December 26th Challenge post.
Hi all, how's December treating you? It's ridiculous where I am, it was 11 degrees Celsius here yesterday and nary a snowflake in sight. Our Canadian winter is a bit of a joke so far this year!
I have been crafting away though, no matter the weather and I have finished up a few more things. Today's is a cute gift card holder. I had a hard time here, as the sheep stamp was much smaller than I thought, it really wasn't working as a focal point. So then I started playing around with my new postage stamp Nesties and thought, 'hey, that looks like a stamp' and that's how it ended up.
I used a template for the pop up bit - check out Paper Punch Addiction here, she has a ton of tutorials for you to use. (Although looking at her site agin, maybe I should have decorated the inside a bit more!)

Day 5 and I'm back with something different, at least for me. I've done some 'manly' cards before, but never a teen card, so I'm hoping I hit the mark with this one. I don't have any teens I can poll, so what do you think? Hee hee, I still think I'm cool and then I overhear a bunch of kids talking at the mall and realize I'm hopelessly out of it. Sigh...
I got this Mo stamp on sale, and was wondering what to do with it when I saw the Mojo Monday sketch and an idea was born. I added a few text strips to the front, although I'm still wondering how you say Happy Birthday in text!

Anything Goes - Cooking it up with Katie (second entry I think!)

It's Day 4 of the 12 days of Craftiness and I'm right on track. My poor blog is spinning with all the activity, I don't think I've posted this much in forever! Went off on a bit of a tangent here with a lovely, summery layout. This is my DH with my 2 boys (in hats) and my sister in laws 2 kids - we had them over for a week this summer. Love this cheerful photo with all the beautiful sunflowers, although if you look closely, they're squinting a bit from the sun! (oh, and sorry about the magnets - this is hanging on my cubicle right now, and I took the photo without thinking, magnets and all!)
This is being added to Lisa Stenz' Art Philosophy blog hop - this is the only artwork I have using the CTMH cartridge as I don't have a Cricut. My upline Nat cut me a bunch of flowers so I could spiff up my layout. Maybe someday I will own one...
Linky Party - Make It Monday
Whew, slim pickings for non-Christmas challenges today!

Back to the regularly scheduled stuff for a bit, it's a new week and a new challenge at Craft Your Passion. This week, we want to see:
PS - you might be able to tell by the fancy new flashing blinky, but I've been offered a spot on the DT for Pile It On! Woo hoo! Have not told DH yet, as I swore up and down I would only do 2 DT's at a time, but it is bi-weekly....hee hee, the road to hell is paved with good intentions, isn't it!

Meant to get this up last night, but I forgot we had a Christmas dinner to go to, one that included the kids. Ugh, should've got a sitter - it was in a scuzzy sports bar and it was past 8:30 by the time we got our food. (and the boys are normally in bed at 8:00!) However, DH had a nice time and that's whats important.
So on to Day 3 of my 12 Days of Craftiness - can't believe I'm so organized, I've got 2 projects already photographed and a couple more in the works! I saw a bunch of 'non-traditional colour' challenges and I thought I'd give that a go. I pulled out an older CTMH stamp set and went to town. In my opinion, this may be one of the most popular CTMH stamps ever - these little snowmen are so cute!

Day 2 of my 12 Days of Craftiness is here! I wasn't going to post tonight, but then I realized I have a Parent Council meeting tomorrow night so I needed to get my butt in gear. (Given a choice between parent Council and being a Beaver Leader, I chose council as the lesser of 2 evils!)
So Voila, here are my Christmas Cards - this is what I'm sending out to everyone on my list this year. I'm deeply indebted to Vicky Wizniuk, an amazing talented CTMH consultant, she put together a great card work shop which I have shamelessly stolen and adapted! I really like these cards - they're clean and simple, flat (easy to mail) with just a touch of glitter. Which totally doesn't show up in the photos - Santa sparkles, really!
See you on Friday for Day 3!

To further my festive spirit, I'm making my own 12 days challenge - a crafty 12 days! There will be some Christmas in there, but not all. To start off with on Day 1, let's have something completely non Christmas - this cute bunny from the Cat's Pajama's!
I absolutely love these bunnies, their ears just crack me up. This card is for a co-worker who has been off sick for 3 weeks now with pneumonia - I wanted something fun and cheerful for when she finally makes it back! Join me again tomorrow (or the next day, luckily I have more than 12 days left!) for more of the 12 Days of Craftiness!

That's the challenge this week at Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes + Glitter! Easy huh? You'll have to look closely at my card though, as my glitter has not shown up well in the photo. I used a couple of colours of Stickles to decorate my tree and snow, plus I embossed my Merry Christmas for shiny finish!
(yep, it's a quick post, my little guy has Beavers and I'm on call to drive him...)
